Radio/TV 10 sports journalist Hitimana Jean Claude, popularly known as “Hit,” and fellow journalist Ishimwe Muhayimpundu Adelaide, known as “Ida,” have officially married in a civil ceremony.
The couple exchanged vows before the law on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Kimihurura Sector in Gasabo District, Kigali, in the presence of family members, friends and local officials.
The civil ceremony comes ahead of their wedding celebrations scheduled for September 5, 2026.
Ida, who recently left Radio/TV 10, previously worked at the media house alongside Hit. Hit continues to present the sports programme “10 Sports Urukiko” at the station.
Before leaving Radio/TV 10, Ida was active in Rwanda’s sports media and event coverage. Her most recent major assignment was hosting the unveiling of Rayon Sports Women’s team during Rayon Day at Kigali Pele Stadium on July 18, 2026.
The couple’s relationship has drawn attention within Rwanda’s sports and media circles, where both have built their profiles through sports journalism and event presentation.
