Rayon Sports has completed the signing of Malian midfielder Issa Djiguiba from AS Real Bamako, continuing its squad reinforcement ahead of the upcoming season.
The 22-year-old was officially unveiled on Friday night through the club’s social media platforms, confirming his move to the Rwanda Premier League side.
Djiguiba is a versatile attacking midfielder capable of operating in central areas as well as on the wings. He arrives with growing recognition in Malian football after being named the best player in the domestic league for the current season.
He is also part of Mali’s national team setup, adding international experience to Rayon Sports’ midfield options.
His arrival marks Rayon Sports’ 11th signing of the transfer window and the fifth foreign recruit as the club reshapes its squad.
The Blues have been active in the market as they prepare for a busy football calendar, including domestic competitions and regional engagements such as the CECAFA Kagame Cup, which will be hosted in Rwanda.
