The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has relocated its headquarters to a new office building in central Kigali, with all services officially operating from the new premises starting Monday.

The agency said its new headquarters is located opposite St. Michael Cathedral, where all departments have been transferred. The One Stop Centre, which provides integrated services to investors and businesses, will operate from the ground floor of the building.

In a public notice, RDB assured investors, businesses, development partners and the general public that the relocation would not disrupt service delivery, noting that all digital platforms remain fully operational.

“Our customer service and stakeholder support teams are ready to assist everyone visiting RDB,” the agency said.

RDB also announced that the relocation plans for its affiliated institutions, including the Rwanda Convention Bureau (RCB) and the Rwanda Mines, Petroleum and Gas Board (RMB), will be communicated separately.

The move follows RDB’s departure from its Gishushu headquarters in May after structural quality concerns prompted the closure of the building for rehabilitation.

The relocation is intended to ensure uninterrupted service delivery while renovation works continue at the former headquarters.
