Rwanda earned Rwf15.45 billion from the export of agricultural and livestock products over five days, according to the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB).
A total of 8,527 tonnes of products were exported between September 21 and 25, 2026, with coffee accounting for the largest share of the earnings.
Rwanda exported 635 tonnes of coffee worth $4.36 million during the period. Tea exports stood at 217 tonnes and generated $668,000, while 367 tonnes of vegetables earned $373,000.
The country also exported 457 tonnes of fruits, generating $455,700, and 12 tonnes of flowers worth $85,900.
Livestock products accounted for 320 tonnes and generated $441,000 in export revenues.
Other products, with a combined volume of 6,519 tonnes, generated $4 million.
Rwanda’s agricultural exports during the period reached markets in China, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, South Africa, Nigeria, Bangladesh and the United States, as well as several other African countries.
