Rwanda’s national U17 football team, Amavubi, has been drawn into Group A for the CECAFA regional qualifiers for the 2026 TotalEnergies CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
Rwanda will compete alongside Sudan, Somalia and South Sudan in the qualifiers, which will be held in Kigali from October 10 to 20, 2026.
The tournament brings together U17 national teams from the CECAFA region competing for qualification to the Africa Cup of Nations finals.
As hosts of the regional qualifiers, Rwanda will represent the country in the competition and will be looking to secure a place at the continental tournament.
