B&B Kigali FM sports journalist Abel Deus Kwizera, popularly known as Cardinale, has married Sandrine Mukabutera in a wedding ceremony held in Kicukiro, Kigali, on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
The couple celebrated their marriage at Don De Dieu Garden, surrounded by family, friends and colleagues from the media industry.
Kwizera and Mukabutera had earlier formalised their union in a civil ceremony on May 28, 2026.
The wedding was attended by several media personalities, including Kwizera’s B&B Kigali FM colleagues Mahoro Nasri, Clarisse Uwimana, Edison Ntihinyuzwa, Yvonne Karugenge and Benjamin Gicumbi, alongside other sports journalists and public figures.
The couple began dating two years ago after knowing each other for five years.
Kwizera is recognised for his sports reporting and analysis, particularly European football. He currently works at B&B Kigali FM, having previously worked for Radio/TV10 and Flash FM, where he built a reputation as a sports journalist.
The wedding marks a new chapter for Kwizera and Mukabutera following their civil marriage earlier this year.
