APR FC has signed Ivorian forward Amani Kouadiokan Michel Breygeneve, who joins the Rwanda Premier League champions from AFAD Djékanou.
The club announced the deal on Saturday, June 20, 2026, confirming that the striker has signed a two-year contract.
Amani, 27, born on April 6, 1999, stands at 180 cm and plays as an attacking forward. He becomes one of APR FC’s key attacking reinforcements ahead of the new season.
The Ivorian forward will wear jersey number 17 at APR FC, a number previously associated with defender Niyigena Clement, suggesting possible squad adjustments within the team.
Before moving to Rwanda, Amani featured for Williamsville AC and Étoile du Sanwi d’Aboisso in Côte d’Ivoire. The transfer marks his first professional spell outside his home country.
He arrives after an impressive domestic campaign in which he scored 17 league goals, finishing among the top scorers in Côte d’Ivoire’s top flight. In the CAF Confederation Cup, he registered two goals and one assist in four appearances for AFAD Djékanou, who were eliminated by USM Alger in the second preliminary round.
Amani becomes APR FC’s second signing of the transfer window after Ishimwe Christian, who joined from Police FC, and is the club’s first foreign acquisition in the ongoing squad rebuild.
APR FC, fresh from winning the Rwanda Premier League, Peace Cup, and Heroes Cup, has begun reshaping its squad following several departures, including former captain Niyigoma Claude and foreign players Aliou Souané, Mamadou Sy, and Mahamadou Lamine Bah.
Further changes are expected as the club continues to restructure ahead of the upcoming season.
