Rwandan coffee exporters, led by the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB), are showcasing the country’s coffee at the World of Coffee Brussels 2026 exhibition, a major international trade fair bringing together key players in the global coffee industry.
The three-day event, running from June 25 to June 27, 2026, has attracted thousands of producers, buyers, investors, and coffee experts from around the world, creating a platform for trade, networking, and knowledge exchange.
The exhibition features business-to-business meetings, industry conferences, coffee tasting sessions, international competitions, and partnership-building engagements aimed at strengthening global coffee value chains.
Rwanda is using the platform to position its coffee as a premium specialty product, widely recognized for its distinct flavor profile, high quality, and sustainable production practices that emphasize environmental protection and farmer livelihoods.
On the opening day, Rwandan exhibitors presented a range of coffee varieties sourced from different growing regions across the country, while also highlighting the journey of coffee from smallholder farms to international markets.
More than 30 Rwandan companies involved in coffee processing and export are participating in the event, underscoring the sector’s growing international competitiveness.
NAEB said Rwanda’s participation is part of broader efforts to expand market access and strengthen the country’s presence in the global specialty coffee industry.
In recent years, Rwandan coffee has gained increasing international recognition, winning multiple awards for quality and taste.
Coffee remains one of Rwanda’s top export earners, supporting thousands of rural households and playing a key role in the country’s foreign exchange earnings.
