Singer Jules Sentore and the Inyamibwa cultural troupe are among the performers announced for the second edition of Cabaret Kigali, an entertainment event that will bring together music, dance, comedy, storytelling and other live performances.

The event, organised by Ally Soudy, is scheduled for November 28, 2026, at Kigali Universe.

Ally Soudy confirmed the participation of Sentore and Inyamibwa in a social media announcement, expressing excitement about sharing the stage with the cultural troupe, which is known for promoting Rwandan traditional dance and culture.

“Are you there, my beloved Inyamibwa? Who wouldn’t love them?” he wrote.

He added that the troupe would help showcase the richness and distinctiveness of Rwandan culture during the event.

Sentore will bring his blend of traditional Rwandan music and contemporary rhythms to the stage. He is known for songs including Uwo Munsi, Ngera and Udatsikira, as well as music that celebrates Rwandan culture, love and values.

His performance alongside Inyamibwa is expected to offer audiences an opportunity to experience Rwandan artistic expression through both music and traditional dance.

Cabaret Kigali is the new name of an event previously known as Ally Soudy & Friends Live Show, whose last edition was held in 2023 at Camp Kigali.

Ally Soudy said the change involved the name and direction of the project, while retaining its original concept of bringing together different forms of entertainment.

“After the Ally Soudy & Friends Live Show, we are pleased to announce that it has been given a new, distinctive name. It is now called Cabaret Kigali, where we will bring together different forms of entertainment. The project aims to promote arts, culture, music, comedy, dance and storytelling,” he said.

The event is organised by Salax Entertainment in partnership with WatuWave, with the aim of creating a platform that connects artists, creative professionals and entertainment audiences.

The organisers say Cabaret Kigali will combine elements of television talk shows with live performances, providing a platform to promote arts and culture in Rwanda and across Africa.

The November 28 event will be the first edition under the new concept since the previous show was last held in 2023.
