Rwanda national team (Amavubi) striker Nshuti Innocent has proposed to his long-time partner, Uwase Nice, marking a new chapter in their relationship.

The forward, who currently plays for Wedfaq Ajdabiya in Libya, shared the news through a video posted on his social media platforms in the early hours of April 5, 2026. The clip captured the moment he went down on one knee and presented the ring, sealing their engagement.

The couple, who have been together for several years, have often shared glimpses of their relationship online, drawing admiration from fans. Uwase Nice accepted the proposal, with the two expressing their commitment to building a future together.

Nshuti made the proposal shortly after returning from international duty with Amavubi, where he featured in the FIFA Series 2026 matches.

Off the pitch, the striker is widely regarded as one of the disciplined and consistent figures in Rwanda’s national team setup. His football journey began at Intare FC at the age of 14 before joining APR FC in 2015. He later had professional stints abroad, including spells in Tunisia, the United States, Azerbaijan, and Libya.

The engagement has been met with congratulatory messages from fans and fellow players, celebrating the couple’s milestone.
