Central African Republic: Rwandan peacekeepers celebrate International Women’s Day with Bria community

Rwandan peacekeepers serving in MINUSCA (RWABGVIII) in Bria, Central African Republic, joined other international forces and local residents today to mark International Women’s Day 2026.

Brahim Abdoulaye, Superintendent of Haute Kotto Province, representing the Governor, delivered a message highlighting concrete steps to advance women’s rights, including improving access to essential services and justice.

The participation of Rwandan peacekeepers underscores their commitment to fostering lasting peace and protecting civilians from all forms of violence, while promoting gender equality in the communities they serve.
