Australian football club Como-Jannali FC is set to visit Rwanda for a football-focused tourism tour from September 25 to October 8, 2026.
The club’s president, Adam Cranney, said the visit will provide an opportunity to build new friendships and strengthen collaboration in women’s football.
The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) has also confirmed the club’s planned visit to Rwanda.
The delegation will comprise 30 people, including players under the age of 18, coaches, club officials and parents.
Como-Jannali FC decided to undertake the trip after Rwandans living in Sydney, New South Wales, introduced the club to Rwanda through the Visit Rwanda initiative.
Activities planned during the visit
During its stay in Rwanda, Como-Jannali FC will play three friendly matches against Rwandan teams. The delegation will also participate in community activities, including Umuganda and tree planting, as well as visit some of the country’s tourist attractions.
