American basketball star Craig Randall II, who plays for APR BBC, has signed with Roc Nation Sports and Roc Nation Sports International, the global sports agency founded by music mogul Jay-Z.
The agency announced Randall’s signing following his breakthrough performance in the 2026 Basketball Africa League (BAL), where he starred for Rwanda’s RSSB Tigers.
Randall played a pivotal role in leading RSSB Tigers to the BAL title and was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. He also made history by scoring 54 points in a single game and hitting 11 three-pointers in another, setting new BAL records.
The 30-year-old guard joined APR BBC earlier this year as the club prepared for its BAL campaign. After APR withdrew from the tournament, RSSB Tigers replaced the club and brought in several of its players, including Randall.
His impact was immediate. In his BAL debut season, Randall emerged as one of the tournament’s most influential players and helped RSSB Tigers secure the continental crown.
He later returned to APR BBC and helped the club win the Rwanda Basketball League title, earning another MVP award.
His agreement with Roc Nation Sports will see the agency manage and promote his professional interests both on and off the court, including his career and commercial opportunities.
Randall is currently training with RSSB Tigers ahead of the 2026 FIBA Intercontinental Cup in China, where the Rwandan club will compete against continental champions from around the world.
Randall’s rise has been rapid. He first attracted major attention during the 2021-22 season after being named the NBA G League’s Most Improved Player while playing for the Long Island Nets. He subsequently played professionally in Australia, France and China before moving to Rwanda.
Founded in 2013, Roc Nation Sports represents some of the biggest names in basketball, including Kyrie Irving, LaMelo Ball and Immanuel Quickley. Its football roster includes Vinícius Júnior, Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Martinelli, Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford and Endrick.
