Rwandan singer France Mpundu has received a car as a gift from her husband, Moctar.
The couple shared videos of the surprise on their respective social media accounts, including Instagram.
In the videos, Mpundu appears surprised as Moctar hands her the car keys. In a heartfelt message, he expressed gratitude for having her as his wife and thanked God for bringing them together.
“I am blessed to have you and all of this. All praise goes to God,” he said.
Mpundu and Moctar exchanged vows in a religious wedding ceremony held in Niger, Moctar’s home country, on July 25, 2026. Two days later, the couple announced the birth of their first child, a baby girl.
The couple’s relationship began on the televised reality competition The Secret Story, which Moctar eventually won.
Their romance attracted wider attention after Moctar proposed to Mpundu during the show. At the time, some viewers initially believed the proposal was part of the reality show and staged for the cameras.
