Rwandan singer Clarisse Karasira has praised her husband, Ifashabayo Sylvain Dejoie, after he earned a second Master’s degree in Business Administration, marking another milestone as he prepares to pursue a PhD.

Dejoie received the degree during a graduation ceremony held at UBS Arena in New York City, where graduates of Western Governors University were awarded their qualifications.

In a message shared on Instagram, Karasira commended her husband’s determination, noting his ability to balance family responsibilities, professional duties, and academic commitments.

“I am very proud to celebrate my husband’s second Master’s degree. He is now officially beginning his journey toward a PhD,” she wrote.

She added that the achievement reflects dedication and resilience despite the demands of daily life.

“Balancing family, work, and studies is not easy. You made it look simple, but I know the effort behind it. Keep shining, my love,” she noted.

This is Dejoie’s second Master’s degree, following his first in Business Administration obtained in October 2024. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Leadership from Watson Institute in partnership with the University of Virginia.

Beyond academics, Dejoie serves as Karasira’s music advisor. The couple has been married since May 1, 2021, and are parents to two sons.
