Kiyovu Sports and Gorilla FC shared the spoils in a 0-0 stalemate on Friday at Kigali Pele Stadium in Day 18 of the Rwanda Premier League.
The first half saw both teams fight fiercely for control in midfield, denying each other clear scoring opportunities. The deadlock remained until halftime.
In the second half, the intensity continued as chances emerged at both ends. Kiyovu Sports striker Sandja Bulaya came close with a one-on-one effort but was denied by the Gorilla FC goalkeeper. Despite three minutes of added time, neither side could break the tie.
With the draw, Gorilla FC remains 13th on the league table with 19 points from 18 games, while Kiyovu Sports holds sixth place with 28 points.
The league resumes tomorrow at Huye Stadium, where Mukura takes on Etincelles.
