RDF Military Police urged to step up training, safeguard force professionalism

Rwanda’s Chief of Defence Staff, Mubarakh Muganga, has urged members of the Military Police Brigade to intensify training and uphold the core values that define the Rwanda Defence Force.

He delivered the message during a pass-out ceremony for Military Police personnel held at the Kanombe Military Barracks.

Gen. Mubarakh commended the officers for completing the training, underscoring the need for continuous skills development to strengthen discipline and professionalism within the force.

He called on the Military Police to remain exemplary in conduct and to play a frontline role in protecting the integrity and standards of the RDF.

On the sidelines of the event, the RDF Chief also inaugurated new sports and training facilities, including basketball, volleyball, and netball courts, as well as a modern gym.

He noted that the infrastructure will enhance physical fitness and operational readiness, contributing to a more professional and capable force.
