Rwandan artist and entertainment journalist Nyarwaya Innocent, popularly known as Yago, has been discharged from hospital, sparking relief among fans and followers after days of concern over his condition.
Yago had been receiving treatment following a serious road accident that occurred on the night of April 16, 2026.
In a brief update shared on his Instagram account on Thursday afternoon, April 23, 2026, he confirmed his recovery, stating: “I have been discharged from the hospital and I am now home. God is very good.”
Throughout his hospitalization, his brother Nyemazi kept the public informed via Yago’s social media platforms, regularly updating fans and calling for prayers for his recovery.
Yago is among Rwanda’s prominent figures in entertainment journalism, having worked with several media houses including Goodrich TV, RadioTV10, and his own Yago TV Show.
His discharge has been widely welcomed, with many fans and industry peers expressing gratitude and wishing him a full and speedy recovery.
