The Rwanda Premier League (RPL) has officially released the second-round fixtures for the 2025/26 season, with action set to resume on January 30, 2026.

The headline fixture of the return leg will see arch-rivals Rayon Sports and APR FC clash on May 2, 2026, in a match expected to have major implications for the title race.

APR FC go into the fixture with confidence, having beaten Rayon Sports 3–0 in their first-round meeting on November 8, 2025, before securing a 4–1 victory in the FERWAFA Super Cup.

The first round of the league experienced delays due to the participation of Sudanese sides Al Hilal SC and Al Merrikh SC, which led to an expanded fixture list. As a result, while some clubs have completed all their first-leg matches, others still have up to three games outstanding.

According to the RPL schedule, the second round will open on January 30 with Al Merrikh SC hosting AS Muhanga. Key early fixtures include Gasogi United’s home clash against APR FC on February 4 and AS Kigali’s home tie against Rayon Sports on February 5. AS Kigali and Rayon Sports are also set to meet earlier in the Heroes Cup on January 28, 2026.

League leaders Police FC will begin their second-round campaign away to Rutsiro FC in Rubavu, while Bugesera FC will host Al Hilal SC.

The 2025/26 Rwanda Premier League season is scheduled to conclude between May 29 and 31, 2026, with Matchday 34 marking the final round of the campaign.
