Rwanda earned $10.65 million from agricultural and livestock products exported in just five days, according to figures from the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB).
The exports, made between September 7 and 11, 2026, totalled 8,482 tonnes of produce shipped to international markets.
A range of agricultural products generated the bulk of the earnings, bringing in $5.01 million from 6,673 tonnes exported.
Coffee was the biggest individual export earner, generating $2.9 million from 405 tonnes.
Fruit exports generated $978,905 from 484 tonnes, while 230 tonnes of tea brought in $643,914.
Rwanda also exported 429 tonnes of vegetables worth $458,518 and 12 tonnes of flowers worth $71,578.
Livestock products generated a further $580,089 from 249 tonnes exported during the period.
The products were destined for markets including the United Kingdom, Netherlands, France, the United States, China, the United Arab Emirates, India and several African countries.
The latest figures underline the role of agricultural and livestock exports in generating foreign exchange for Rwanda, with coffee, tea, fruits, vegetables, flowers and animal products contributing to the country’s export earnings.
