Rwanda’s national men’s volleyball team will take on the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) on Wednesday in their second Group D match at the African Men’s Volleyball Championship in Tunis, Tunisia.
The match is scheduled to start at 12 p.m. Kigali time.
Rwanda opened their campaign on Tuesday with a convincing 3-0 victory over the Central African Republic, winning 25-14, 25-9 and 25-14.
DR Congo, meanwhile, suffered a 3-0 defeat to Cameroon in their opening match, losing 25-12, 25-21 and 25-16.
Rwanda will be looking to build on their strong start against a DR Congo side seeking to bounce back from its opening defeat.
The team that finishes top of Group D will advance directly to the round of 16, avoiding the subsequent playoff stage.
