The Rwanda Premier League has signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with Skol Brewery Rwanda worth Rwf915 million, in a deal aimed at strengthening the commercial growth and visibility of domestic football.
The agreement was signed on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Amahoro Stadium between Skol Brewery Rwanda Managing Director Eric Gilson and Rwanda Premier League President Mudaheranwa Hadji Yussuf.
Under the deal, Skol will inject Rwf305 million annually into the league, supporting a range of activities across the 2026/27 season and the following two campaigns.
The partnership is expected to boost the promotion of the league, improve match attendance, enhance digital and social media engagement, and elevate matchday experiences for selected BK Premier League fixtures. It will also support awards for outstanding performers and fan engagement initiatives.
As part of the agreement, Skol will retain exclusive rights to supply and sell beverages at official league venues.
A portion of the sponsorship funds will be allocated to performance-based incentives, including Rwf1 million awarded for every match victory, alongside rewards for outstanding fans.
The signing ceremony was attended by Rwanda Premier League CEO Jules Karangwa and the President of the Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA), Dr Shema Ngoga Fabrice.
The deal comes shortly after Skol renewed its long-term partnership with Rayon Sports, extending a collaboration that has spanned more than a decade.
