Rwandan gospel singer Prosper Nkomezi held a “fruitful” meeting with Israel’s Ambassador to Rwanda, Einat Weiss, as he prepares for a series of performances in Tel Aviv.
Nkomezi shared a photo of the meeting on his Instagram page on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, describing the encounter as an important exchange for his ministry.
“It was an honor to meet Ambassador Einat Weiss. I am grateful for the valuable conversations we had — this is a great opportunity for gospel music and worship,” he said.
The musician is set to perform in Tel Aviv from February 16 to 21, 2026.
Nkomezi, a prominent figure in Rwanda’s gospel scene, has gained recognition for his inspiring songs, including Ibasha Gukora, Yanyishyuriye, and Urihariye, among others, which continue to resonate with audiences at home and abroad.
