Ambassador Parfait Busabizwa on Thursday, December 4, 2025, presented copies of his credentials to Equatorial Guinea’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Simeon Oyono Esono Angue, officially authorizing him to represent Rwanda in the country.
The confirmation of this development was issued by the Embassy of Congo-Brazzaville.
Amb. Busabizwa serves as Rwanda’s envoy to both Congo-Brazzaville and Equatorial Guinea.
He was appointed Rwanda’s Ambassador to Congo-Brazzaville in late 2024.
Rwanda and Equatorial Guinea signed a cooperation agreement in 2014 aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and accelerating joint development.
The two countries committed to work together in areas such as good governance, air transport links, the movement of people and goods, trade and investment promotion, and facilitating tourism between their nations.
