Rwandan music icon Butera Knowless engaged her fans in a lively Instagram session on Monday, March 23, 2026, answering questions about her career, personal life, and future plans.
During the interactive chat, Knowless revealed that she plans to hold her own concert at BK Arena in 2027, saying that everything is on track for the event.
On matters of faith, she confirmed her membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church but emphasized that her beliefs do not limit her from participating in events aligned with her values elsewhere. “I am an Adventist, but it doesn’t prevent me from gathering in other spaces that reflect my faith,” she said.
Fans also sought advice for those facing difficult times and feeling hopeless. Knowless highlighted the importance of hope and resilience. “The first step is to find hope within yourself, even when life is hard. As long as you breathe, life remains possible and can improve. Prayer also gives strength to achieve what we cannot do alone,” she explained.
When asked about her favorite song, Knowless singled out “Nyigisha”, describing it as her all-time favorite. She also shared that her greatest fear is not living life to its fullest potential. “My biggest fear is not living the life I am meant to live,” she noted.
On the topic of marriage advice, Knowless encouraged young people to focus on personal growth first. “Before thinking about marriage, prioritize building yourself as a person. Everything else will follow,” she said.
Knowless teased fans with news of an upcoming single, promising a track that will delight listeners. When asked about dream collaborations, she said it’s hard to pick just one artist due to the many talented musicians she admires.
A mother of three, Butera Knowless is one of Rwanda’s most celebrated female artists. She has released numerous hit songs, won multiple awards including Primus Guma Guma Superstar Season 5, and produced five albums, solidifying her status in Rwandan music history.
