Rwandan singer Bwiza has arrived in Stockholm, Sweden, where she is set to headline what she describes as a historic concert, marking the launch of her international tour to promote her second album, Home.
Fresh from performances at the Tour du Rwanda Festival, Bwiza touched down in the Swedish capital ahead of the show scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026.
Taking to her Instagram account on Thursday afternoon, March 5, 2026, the singer urged her fans in Stockholm to turn up in large numbers.
“Stockholm, the time has come. I hope you will show up in big numbers, it’s going to be an amazing show,” she posted.
The concert will also serve as a curtain-raiser for International Women’s Day, celebrated annually on March 8. Organizers say the event will not only celebrate women’s contributions to global development but also spotlight awareness and prevention of cervical cancer.
According to data from the World Health Organization, cervical cancer claims approximately 1,000 women’s lives every day worldwide.
Bwiza has emerged as one of Rwanda’s leading female artists, gaining prominence through hit songs such as Exchange, Ahazaza, and OGERA, among others.
Her Stockholm performance signals a growing international footprint as she takes her music beyond Rwanda to global audiences.
