First Lady Jeannette Kagame hosted children from across the country at the annual end-of-year celebrations, bringing together young participants to wish them a joyful Christmas and a happy New Year.
The event, held this Saturday at Village Urugwiro, also saw Mrs. Kagame interact with the children through various games and activities, as she presented them with Christmas gifts and New Year 2026 presents.
During the celebrations, the children showcased their talents and skills in a range of areas, including karate, traditional dance, drawing, and other creative activities.
The children also received assorted gifts such as footballs, toys, and school supplies.
The event was attended by the Minister of Gender and Family Promotion, Consolée Uwimana, as well as the Director General of the National Child Development Agency (NCDA), Assumpta Ingabire.
