Rwandan comedian Clapton Kibonge and his wife Ntambara Mutoni Jackie were officially presented in church on Sunday as they prepare to formalize their marriage in a religious ceremony.
The event took place on March 15, 2026 at Healing Center Church in Remera, where the couple received prayers and blessings from the congregation as a family seeking God’s guidance in the next phase of their union.
The church presentation comes weeks after Kibonge publicly reaffirmed his commitment to Jackie. On February 21, 2026, the comedian gave her an engagement ring, asking her to continue being his wife after the two had lived together as a couple for eight years. Jackie accepted the proposal.
The couple is currently finalizing preparations for their wedding ceremony scheduled for April 4, 2026 in Nyagatare District.
Kibonge and Jackie had earlier legalized their marriage on October 18, 2018 in Niboye Sector.
They welcomed their first child in December 2018, their second in 2022, and their third child in 2024. The upcoming ceremony is expected to mark another milestone in the couple’s family journey.
