Kayonza district is set to begin construction of a new Azote factory, aimed at producing frozen semen for dairy cows and improving access to high-quality breeding material for local farmers.
Rwanda earned over $13 million from agricultural exports between February 2 and 6, 2026, according to the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB). The revenue, equivalent to about 19 billion Rwandan francs, highlights the growing contribution of agriculture to the country’s foreign earnings.
